Moises grew up in rural west Texas and attended Fort Hancock High School. Mr. Morales attended Sul Ross State University to play basketball and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. After college, Mr. Morales worked as the chief of staff for a local district attorney. Two years later, Moises moved to Austin, where he worked for a state representative during the 82nd Legislative Session at the Texas Capitol.
After this legislative experience, Mr. Morales moved to Houston, Texas to attend law school. He graduated in May 2015 from the University of Houston Law Center with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. During his law school career, Mr. Morales actively participated in the Hispanic Law Students Association and was the Chief Notes and Comments Editor of the Houston Business & Tax Journal.
Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Morales gained valuable legal experience working as a law clerk for a Federal Court, State Court, a Fortune 500 Company, and two Houston civil litigation law firms.
Duly admitted and licensed as an Attorney and Counselor at Law to practice in all Courts of the State of Texas
