Taylor Pounds

Taylor Pounds grew up in College Station, Texas. Ms. Pounds received her Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from Texas A&M University. After graduating, Ms. Pounds attended law school at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. During her law school career, she served as chair of the board of advocates, was a member of the dean’s list, and competed in national and international mock trial and negotiation competitions where she earned numerous best speaker awards, and was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Ms. Pounds gained valuable legal experience handling a general litigation docket representing plaintiffs and defendants with a special focus on construction defects, professional liability, commercial disputes, oilfield accidents, premise liability, employment disputes, and personal injury litigation. Ms. Pounds also, has a passion for trial work and pursues this passion by serving as an adjunct professor teaching trial litigation and coaching varsity mock trial competition teams for her alma mater, South Texas College of Law.

Ms. Pounds is based in our Houston office.
