Matthew Parr grew up in Mesquite, Texas. Mr. Parr received his Bachelor’s Degree in Rhetoric from The University of Texas in Austin. After graduating, Mr. Parr attended law school at South Texas College of Law Houston. During his law school career, he participated in the Texas Business Journal and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Parr interned for The Honorable Judge Amos Mazzant in the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Texas. Mr. Parr also gained valuable legal experience working at a criminal defense firm and for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office as an intern while he was in law school.

Mr. Parr is based in our Houston office.
