Ezequiel Barrera was born in Houston, Texas. Mr. Barrera received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Houston. After graduating, Mr. Barrera attended law school at South Texas College of Law Houston. During his law school career, he was a member of several student organizations and enjoyed volunteering his time at local citizenship and immigration forums around the city. He also participated in the Actual Innocence legal clinic at South Texas College of Law Houston, which aims to achieve justice for the wrongfully convicted.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Barrera gained valuable legal experience working at multiple personal injury firms as a law clerk.
