David W. Bergquist

Mr. David W. Bergquist grew up in the small town of Moorhead, Minnesota, where he first learned that hard work and integrity are key components to success personally and professionally. After graduation from Moorhead High School in 1994, Mr. Bergquist attended college at the University of North Dakota where he graduated with a degree in the Bachelor of Arts in 1999.

Upon graduation, Mr. Bergquist moved to Houston, Texas to start his career with the accounting giant, Arthur Anderson. With a couple of years of corporate experience under his belt, he enrolled in law school at Texas Southern University.

Mr. Bergquist graduated magna cum laude from Texas Southern University in 2003. He worked for two litigation firms during and subsequent to graduation. His work at those firms eventually led to Mr. Bergquist’s founding of the Bergquist Law Firm.

Throughout his time as an attorney and at his law firm, Mr. Bergquist has been an aggressive trial lawyer. His law practice focuses on litigation matters, including plaintiff’s accident and personal injury, civil and business litigation, and medical field and healthcare litigation.

Mr. Bergquist has successfully litigated personal injury cases involving surgeries, permanent disfigurement, and death. He fights for the highest monetary recovery for victims and their families.

Mr. Bergquist has litigated various civil and business matters, including contract disputes, partnership disputes, non-compete issues, fraud, DTPA, and real estate transactions. Professionals regularly seek Mr. Bergquist’s guidance regarding a wide range of business issues and legal advice.

Lina Al-Salim

Lina Al Salim was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in both Political Science and Psychology from University of Houston. During her undergraduate career, Ms. Al Salim made the dean’s list several times and had the opportunity to intern for a Texas State Representative. In May of 2016, Ms. Al Salim received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. During her law school career, Ms. Al Salim became a certified mediator and mediated several cases at Harris County Justice of the Peace Courts. She also had the opportunity to study abroad in Prague, Czech Republic where she took courses in international law. Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Ms. Al Salim gained legal experience clerking at the Harris County Civil District Court with Judge Michael Gomez. Ms. Al Salim joined the Bergquist Law Firm in 2016 where she now focuses on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. In her spare time, Ms. Al Salim enjoys spending time with her family, friends, traveling, and yoga.

Keith N. Bakker

Keith N. Bakker grew up in Katy, Texas, and attended Cinco Ranch High School. Mr. Bakker received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Commerce from Texas Tech University. During college, he was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and studied abroad in England, France, and Germany. After college, Mr. Bakker clerked at a general practice law office. He also had the opportunity of aiding in the campaign and election efforts of the current 83rd District Attorney.

Mr. Bakker graduated with his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2015 from Texas Tech School of Law. During law school, Mr. Bakker interned at the 83rd District Attorney’s Office and performed legal and title work for an energy company. Mr. Bakker was an active member of the Law Student Division of the State Bar of Texas and The Energy Law Interest Group.

In his spare time, Mr. Bakker enjoys sports and spending time with family and friends.

James Burkhalter

James Burkhalter grew up in a small East Texas town near Cedar Creek Lake. Mr. Burkhalter attended The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Political Science and minoring in Business and Communications. While attending the University of Texas, Mr. Burkhalter had the opportunity to work at the Office of The Attorney General of Texas in the Special Litigation Division under then Attorney General Greg Abbott, stoking his desire to attend law school and pursue a career as a litigator.

After graduating from The University of Texas in 2014, Mr. Burkhalter moved to Houston, Texas to attend law school. He graduated in May 2017 from the University of Houston Law Center with both a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Master of Laws in International Law. During his law school career, Mr. Burkhalter studied European Union Law in Ireland and Wales at both the University College Dublin and Bangor College, and worked at a criminal defense firm in Pristina, Kosovo.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Burkhalter gained valuable legal experience working as a law clerk for the Louisiana 1st Court of Appeals and at a boutique litigation firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

In his spare time, Mr. Burkhalter enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing sports, and going on runs in Buffalo Bayou Park with his Transylvanian Hound, Cash.

Amanda Catalani

Amanda L. Catalani was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from TMI High School in the Hill Country, she attended Duke University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Ethics, and Markets & Management with honors.

Upon graduating from Duke University, Ms. Catalani worked as an AmeriCorps Vista for a rebuilding organization in New Orleans, LA, before beginning her career as a Consultant in Boston, MA, and Washington, D.C.

Ms. Catalani moved to Houston, Texas to be closer to her family and attended the University of Houston Law Center, where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2016. During her law school career, she gained valuable experience clerking for a judge and working for a civil litigation firm.

In her spare time, Ms. Catalani enjoys running, spending time with her dog, and traveling.

Jordan R. Corn

Jordan R. Corn grew up in the small town of Florence, Texas just north of Austin. Mr. Corn graduated from Texas Tech University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a “Criminology Concentration” and a minor in Legal Studies.

Mr. Corn graduated with his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2016 from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Corn clerked for a family law firm here in Houston. Mr. Corn was also a member of the Board of Advocates and participated in mock trial during his time at South Texas.

In his spare time, Mr. Corn enjoys spending time with his friends and family, throwing movie quotes into everyday conversations, and rooting for his Red Raiders and the five-time champion San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys.

Josh A. Daws

Josh Daws was born and raised in Evadale, Texas – a tiny town located in Southeast Texas. After graduating high school, Mr. Daws spent the next two years of his life serving as a missionary for his church in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he learned Spanish and developed a stronger desire to serve others.

Mr. Daws received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management and a minor in Spanish from Lamar University. He then attended Texas Tech School of Law where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence. While attending school, Mr. Daws gained experience in personal injury and other areas of civil litigation as a law clerk.

During his free time, Mr. Daws enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, as well as serving in his church.

Jovani Diaz

Jovani Diaz was born and grew up in Houston, Texas. Ms. Diaz received her Bachelor of Science in both Political Science and Psychology from Houston Baptist University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then attended South Texas College of Law and received her Doctor of Jurisprudence. While attending school, Ms. Diaz worked full time and gained experienced in the legal career as a law clerk in a number of law firms. Additionally, she was a member of South Texas’ Law Review, she was the research assistant to one of her professors, she edited articles for the State Bar of Texas’ Oil and Gas Journal, and she participated in the advocacy program. Ms. Diaz likes to read and write as her hobbies, and enjoys cooking and baking.

Noe A. Gonzalez

Noe A. Gonzalez grew up in Edinburg, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley. In 2014, Mr. Gonzalez received his Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas.

After graduating, Mr. Gonzalez moved to Houston to attend law school at the University of Houston Law Center. While in law school, Mr. Gonzalez served as Chief Articles Editor on the Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law and as Treasurer for the Hispanic Law Students Association. He honed his advocacy skills through mock trial, moot court, and alternative dispute resolution competitions, where he was recognized as a finalist in the American Bar Association Client Counselling, Blakely-Butler Moot Court, and South Texas College of Law Houston Energy Law Negotiation Competitions.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Gonzalez gained valuable legal experience working as a law clerk for the 13th Court of Appeals in south Texas and for a litigation firm in Houston.

In his spare time, Mr. Gonzalez enjoys watching films, spending time with his family, supporting the Dallas Cowboys, and running at the park with his dog, Luna.

Collin D. Greene

Collin Greene grew up in rural Northern California. Mr. Greene graduated with Honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He moved to the Houston area soon after and began working in the litigation support industry. Mr. Greene then attended the University of Houston Law Center, where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2016. During his law school career, he served as the Head Senior Articles Editor of the Houston Business & Tax Law Journal and as a Student Attorney in the Law Center's Civil Practice Clinic.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Greene gained valuable legal experience as a law clerk at the Texas First Court of Appeals, the University of Houston System Office of the General Counsel, a litigation firm, and multiple district attorney offices. Joshua Harrison

Joshua Harrison grew up in Sinton, Texas. After high school, Mr. Harrison attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. 

Mr. Harrison went on to attend law school at the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, he participated in mock trial and also clerked at a prestigious criminal defense firm in Houston. As a member of the mock trial team, Mr. Harrison competed in numerous national trial competitions where he gained valuable litigation experience. He received his J.D. in May 2017 and joined the Bergquist Law Firm in July of the same year. 

In his spare time, Mr. Harrison enjoys reading historical novels, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Meghan Hennessy

Meghan Hennessy was born and raised in Florida. Ms. Hennessy graduated from Florida State University in 2013, with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Psychology. She moved to Texas to attend The University of Texas School of Law, where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2017. During her law school career, Ms. Hennessy served as the Executive Editor of the American Journal of Criminal Law and was a member of the school’s mock trial team.

Prior to joining Bergquist Law firm, Ms. Hennessy worked in the Human Trafficking Unit of the Orange County’s District Attorney’s Office in California and at an environmental litigation firm. In her spare time, Ms. Hennessy enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with her friends.

Evette Hooper

Evette Hooper was raised in East Houston where she attended North Shore High School. Upon graduating in 2008, she attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where she received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology. While at A&M, Ms. Hooper was a member of the Order of Omega Honors Society.

After graduating from A&M in 2012, Ms. Hooper attended law school at Texas Tech School of Law in Lubbock, Texas. While attending Texas Tech Law, Ms. Hooper was a student attorney at the Caprock Public Defenders Office where she represented indigent defendants charged with various felony and misdemeanor crimes in 6 different counties surrounding Lubbock. Ms. Hooper was also an intern at Zuniga Law Offices P.C. in Houston, Texas during the summer and winter breaks from law school. There, she assisted attorneys in misdemeanor, felony, federal, and juvenile criminal cases. Ms. Hooper has participated in trials ranging from misdemeanor possession of marijuana charges to murder trials.

In 2015 after graduating from Texas Tech School of Law, Ms. Hooper returned to Houston to practice law in her home town. She joined The Bergquist Law Firm in 2016 where she focuses on civil litigation. Ms. Hooper is passionate about public service, and legal advocacy. Aaron Howard

Aaron Howard grew up in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Howard attended Texas Tech University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in legal studies. During college, Mr. Howard had the opportunity to intern for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and study abroad in Seville, Spain, where he took courses comparing the American and European legal systems.

In 2014, Mr. Howard entered law school and graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2017. While in law school, Mr. Howard served as a contributing editor of the University of Houston Journal of Commercial and Consumer Law. In addition, he gained valuable experience clerking for United States District Judge Andrew S. Hanen and working as a law clerk at a boutique personal injury litigation firm.

In his spare time Mr. Howard enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, mentoring underprivileged youth, and rooting for America’s Team, The Dallas Cowboys.

Lamar I. Johnson

Lamar I. Johnson was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and attended MacArthur Senior High School. Mr. Johnson graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and, later, returned home to attend law school. In May of 2017, Mr. Johnson received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center. 

During law school, Mr. Johnson worked as a student attorney in the University of Houston Law Center's Criminal Defense Clinic where he helped represent indigent members of the community charged with misdemeanors. Mr. Johnson was also an editor of the Journal of Consumer & Commercial Law and an active member of Black Law Students Association. 

Mr. Johnson joined the Bergquist Law Firm in August 2017, where he currently focuses his practice on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. In his free time, Mr. Johnson enjoys fishing, playing sports with his younger brother, and following the Supreme Court.

Apostolos Kyprios

Apostolos “Mark” Kyprios was born and raised in Plano, Texas where he attended John Paul II High School. Mr. Kyprios went on to attend the University of Texas at Dallas, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2013.  

Mr. Kyprios earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2017 from The University of Texas School of Law. During law school, Mr. Kyprios was a staff editor for the Texas International Law Journal.  

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Kyprios gained valuable legal experience working as a clerk at a litigation law firm, a public defender’s office, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Cyrus Mahdavi

Cyrus Mahdavi grew up in the surrounding Houston area. Mr. Mahdavi graduated with honors from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Mr. Mahdavi then attended the University of Texas School of Law, where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2017. During law school, he worked as a student attorney in the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, and was an active member of the Business Law Society.

Terry McGovern

Mr. Terry McGovern was born in San Antonio, Texas. At a young age, Mr. McGovern moved to Mexico, where he was raised. While growing up in Mexico, Mr. McGovern learned Spanish and most importantly the Hispanic culture.

After graduating from high school, Mr. McGovern moved back to his native town, San Antonio, where he attended college at the University of Texas at San Antonio and received his degree in Bachelor of Arts. During his undergraduate career, Mr. McGovern worked at the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office and for Texas Senator Leticia Van de Putte. Among his undergraduate academic achievements, Mr. McGovern, graduated with honors and received a certificate in legal reasoning.

Thereafter, Mr. McGovern moved to Houston, Texas to attend law school at Houston College of Law, formerly known as South Texas College of Law. Among his numerous achievements in law school, Mr. McGovern graduated in the top third of his class, became a varsity advocate, a member of the South Texas law review, and an officer for the Board of Advocates.

Throughout his time in law school, Mr. McGovern was eager to both apply and enhance his lawyering skills. As part of this process, Mr. McGovern interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, the First Court of Appeals of Texas, and several litigation firms, including the Bergquist Law Firm during the summer of 2015. Mr. McGovern was inspired by his supervising attorney, Gloria Villatoro, so much that he decided to begin his legal career at the Bergquist Law Firm.

Among his interests, Mr. McGovern enjoys mountain biking, wakeboarding, and spending time with his family.

Hugo R. Montes

Hugo R. Montes was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Splendora High School in 2008, Mr. Montes attended Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2013.

Upon graduating from Texas A&M, Mr. Montes attended South Texas College of Law, Houston, where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May of 2016. Among his numerous academic achievements in law school, Mr. Montes received a CALI award for excellence in Contract Drafting and Negotiation, made the dean’s list, and qualified for the Pro Bono Honors Program Certification for his extensive public service. Furthermore, understanding that academia was only half the battle in his pursuit of becoming a litigating attorney, Mr. Montes refined his advocacy skills as a recognized member of the varsity alternative dispute resolution team, receiving his mediator certification, and winning the Garland Walker Mock Trial Intramural Championship and Best Advocate awards in 2014.

Prior to joining Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Montes gained valuable legal experience working as a law clerk at a boutique personal injury litigation firm and as an intern with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Through his experiences, Mr. Montes was able to refine his knowledge of personal injury practice, solidify his legal research and writing skills, and gain the practical skills necessary to effectively represent his clients.

Utilizing all of his prior and ever-growing experiences, Mr. Montes is now dedicated to the effective and zealous representation of plaintiffs in personal injury cases.

Moises Morales

Moises grew up in rural west Texas and attended Fort Hancock High School. Mr. Morales attended Sul Ross State University to play basketball and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. After college, Mr. Morales worked as the chief of staff for a local district attorney. Two years later, Moises moved to Austin, where he worked for a state representative during the 82nd Legislative Session at the Texas Capitol. 

After this legislative experience, Mr. Morales moved to Houston, Texas to attend law school. He graduated in May 2015 from the University of Houston Law Center with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. During his law school career, Mr. Morales actively participated in the Hispanic Law Students Association and was the Chief Notes and Comments Editor of the Houston Business & Tax Journal.

Susana Naranjo

Susana Naranjo was born in Southern California and was raised in Brenham, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013. She then received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor University School of Law in 2017.

During her law school career, Ms. Naranjo participated heavily in moot court, and one of her teams came in second at a national competition. Ms. Naranjo also gained valuable experience interning with a federal judge and several government agencies.

Ms. Naranjo joined the Bergquist Law Firm in 2017. In her spare time, Ms. Naranjo enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering, and attending concerts.

Viet Q. Nguyen

Viet Nguyen is a proud native Houstonian. Graduating from Hightower High School, he attended the University of Houston where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Mr. Nguyen earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in 2016. While a law student, Mr. Nguyen clerked with a prominent Houston defense firm, the Staff Attorneys at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the Harris County District Attorney's Office, and two plaintiff's personal injury firms. In his time at the University Law Center, Mr. Nguyen was a member of the Public Interest Law Organization and the Asian Law Students Association.

He is devoted to serving and educating the community in any way he can. He spent his last semester of law school teaching high school students about being a lawyer in Street Law. Mr. Nguyen has also taught at a local Vietnamese school since the age of 13. In his spare time, Mr. Nguyen enjoys cooking, trivia, and practicing the piano.

Taylor Pounds

Ms. Taylor Pounds grew up in College Station, Texas. Ms. Pounds attended Texas A&M University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Upon graduating from Texas A&M, Ms. Pounds received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. While at South Texas, Ms. Pounds served as a school ambassador, was named to the Dean's List, and was heavily involved in the nationally recognized advocacy program as both a varsity advocate and Co-chair of the Board of Advocates. Ms. Pounds competed in over a dozen mock trial competitions earning multiple speaker and top advocate awards, appeared in back to back national finals, and was inducted into the National Order of the Banisters.

Prior to joining Bergquist Law Firm, Ms. Pounds gained valuable experience working as a law clerk for an insurance subrogation and liability defense firm, interning with the Harris County District Attorney's Office, clerking for two Harris County District Court Judges, and working as a certified mediator with the South Texas College of Law Mediation Clinic.

In her spare time Ms. Pounds enjoys exploring Houston's music, theater, and art scenes, playing as much soccer as possible, and spending time with her family and friends.

Laura Rivas

Laura Rivas was raised in the greater Dallas area. Ms. Rivas obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas A&M University in 2012. She went to work in the biochemistry field for a year after graduating from college, but quickly decided that she wanted to transition her career into law. 

Ms. Rivas attended law school at St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, TX. During her time there she interned for Locke Lord, LLP's corporate/transactional law department as well as a criminal defense firm. She also spent one summer with the study abroad program at the University of Innsbruck in Innsbruck, Austria. Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, she gained valuable experience in alternative dispute resolution processes and various real estate and property damage cases. 

Ms. Rivas joined the Bergquist Law Firm in September 2017 and is based full-time in our Dallas office. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities/sports, and hanging out with her dog Callie.

Amy Rodriguez

Amy Rodriguez grew up in North Andover, Massachusetts. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Wellesley College in 2014.

In May 2017, Ms. Rodriguez graduated from The University of Texas School Law. While at UT, she took part in the Law School's Clinical Education Program, representing clients in the school's Human Rights Clinic and the Criminal Defense Clinic. As a member of the Human Rights Clinic, Ms. Rodriguez traveled to Argentina to interview clients and presented their story to the Inter-American Development Bank. In the Criminal Defense Clinic, Ms. Rodriguez represented indigent clients on misdemeanor charges in Travis County. She also interned for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas, and Human Rights First.

In her spare time, Ms. Rodriguez enjoys going to the movies, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Karl R. Schneider

Karl R. Schneider was born in Florida and grew up in Houston. Mr. Schneider received Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and managerial studies from Rice University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston. Licensed in 1993, Mr. Schneider worked for 12 years at a private firm defending individuals and corporations in civil litigation. In 2005, he moved to The Hartford Insurance Company and became the managing attorney for the company’s staff legal offices in Texas. As managing attorney, Mr. Schneider was responsible for overseeing attorneys and support staff state wide while maintaining an active docket of cases. Mr. Schneider has extensive experience litigating civil and business matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, workplace accidents, products cases, DTPA, fraud and property damage cases. He has tried over 50 cases to verdict.

In his spare time, Mr. Schneider joins spending time with his wife, three children, flag football, reading and weight lifting.

Sarah E. Schuller

Sarah E. Schuller grew up in Plano, Texas and attended Plano Senior High School. Ms. Schuller graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College at Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Honors Arts and Letters. Ms. Schuller remained in Lubbock to attend Texas Tech School of Law where she graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in May of 2015. During her law school career, Ms. Schuller made the Dean’s Honor List, worked in the Low Income Tax Clinic, and received a top oralist award in Texas Tech’s advocacy program.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Ms. Schuller gained valuable legal experience while working for an insurance defense and personal injury firm in Lubbock, Texas. She also became a trained mediator with the Office of Dispute Resolution, helping to resolve over 25 disagreements. Additionally, Ms. Schuller spent time volunteering with the Innocence Project of Texas. There, she focused on overturning convictions under Senate Bill 344 which expanded habeas corpus relief for people falsely convicted based on junk science.

Ms. Schuller joined the Bergquist Law Firm in January of 2016, where she currently focuses her practice on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. In her free time, Ms. Schuller enjoys spending time with her family, following Texas Tech Football, and throwing the Frisbee to her lab/border collie mix puppy.

Aqsa Siddiqui

Aqsa Siddiqui was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelors in Business Administration and Science from The University of Texas at Austin. During her undergraduate career, Ms. Siddiqui had the opportunity to intern for a Texas State Representative. In May of 2017, she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech School of Law. During her law school career, Ms. Siddiqui worked at Legal Aid and the Title XI office at Texas Tech. 

Ms. Siddiqui joined the Bergquist Law Firm in 2017 where she now focuses on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. In her spare time, Ms. Siddiqui enjoys going to Crossfit, biking, and spending time with family.

Gloria J. Villatoro

Gloria J. Villatoro was born in Houston and grew up in Pasadena, Texas. Ms. Villatoro received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Houston and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. After becoming licensed in 2008, Ms. Villatoro gained valuable litigation experience handling cases in the areas of family, probate, bankruptcy, and criminal law. Ms. Villatoro now focuses her practice on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Ms. Villatoro is a dedicated problem solver who is passionate about helping people obtain justice. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family (which includes two rescue dogs, Maddy and Arnold), jogging, and following her favorite sports teams.

Kyle M. Wilkins

Kyle M. Wilkins born in Houston, Texas, and attended Clear Creek High School. Mr. Wilkins received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. 

After graduating from Texas Christian University, Mr. Wilkins moved to San Antonio, Texas, to attend St. Mary's University School of Law where he receive his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2017. During his law school career, he gained valuable experience working in areas of family law and criminal law. He also worked as a law clerk for a civil litigation firm. 

Mr. Wilkins is a dedicated individual with a relentless desire to succeed. In his spare time, Mr. Wilkins enjoys fly-fishing, playing golf, collecting vinyl records, and attending sporting events.

Nicholas M. Wills

Nicholas M. Wills grew up in Houston, Texas, and attended Bellaire High School. Mr. Wills received his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia where he was a member of the baseball team. After college, Mr. Wills moved back to Houston where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2013 from South Texas College of Law.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Wills gained valuable legal experience working for various personal injury firms as well as the City of Houston Legal Department. In addition, Mr. Wills has researched and written hundreds of articles related to mass torts in pharmaceutical liability, automobile accidents, and other crucial areas pertaining to personal injury.

Mr. Wills is an accomplished pianist who enjoys creating music as well as volunteering and playing sports.

Elco R. Zubiate, Jr.

Elco R. Zubiate, Jr. was born in Midland, Texas and grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas. Mr. Zubiate received his Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Houston in 2011 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2015.

Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Zubiate worked as a student attorney at the St. Mary’s Civil Justice Clinic where he gained valuable legal experience in the areas of consumer law and family law. He also worked as a law clerk in a small wills and estate planning firm in San Antonio, Texas. During his time in law school, Mr. Zubiate had the opportunity to study at the University of Innsbruck in Innsbruck, Austria.

Mr. Zubiate is a dedicated individual who embraces challenges. On his spare time Mr. Zubiate enjoys spending time with his family, maintaining an active lifestyle, and riding horses.
