Cornelia Brandfield-Harvey was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Ms. Brandfield-Harvey received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University in New York City. She then attended University of Houston Law Center where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence.
While attending school, Ms. Brandfield-Harvey was a student attorney for the Mediation Clinic, winning the Texas Mediators Credentialing Association Jim Gibson Scholarship Award. Additionally, she was a member of the Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law, she was the research assistant to one of her professors and she participated in the advocacy program.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Brandfield-Harvey was an internationally and nationally ranked epee fencer for 13 years and still enjoys fencing in her spare time at local clubs. She competed in the World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, winning the silver medal. She likes to volunteer at Houston Humane Society and Lone Star Legal Aid.
