Amy Rodriguez grew up in North Andover, Massachusetts. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Wellesley College in 2014.
In May 2017, Ms. Rodriguez graduated from The University of Texas School Law. While at UT, she took part in the Law School's Clinical Education Program, representing clients in the school's Human Rights Clinic and the Criminal Defense Clinic. As a member of the Human Rights Clinic, Ms. Rodriguez traveled to Argentina to interview clients and presented their story to the Inter-American Development Bank. In the Criminal Defense Clinic, Ms. Rodriguez represented indigent clients on misdemeanor charges in Travis County. She also interned for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas, and Human Rights First.
In her spare time, Ms. Rodriguez enjoys going to the movies, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
